Caradhras when you say Total xp reach 3000K do you mean per a character class or combined?

 

Combined, I mean total XP for both classes.
Single class characters get HLAs when they reach the 3000K, Multi class get HLAs when they reach 1500K in both (i.e. 3000K).

 

Total of all classes.
F/M = 1,500,000 in each class
F/M/T = 1,000,000 in each class

 

That would mean you still gain HLA with a F/M/T?

 

You can gain the Fighter and Thief HLAs, but not the mage ones as you can't cast level 9 spells. There is a patch on SP, however, that will let you get the bonus level 6,7 and 8 spells as mage HLAs, as there's no good reason to exempt these HLAs when you're quite capable of casting level 6-8 spells.

 

Is there a patch that would increase the XP cap to level 50? or 10,000,000+?

 

There is a lvl50 mod that includes XP cap disabler.

 

Would that mod allow you the mage of the f/m/t to achieve their HLA?

 

You'd also need the TripleClassHLA patch that Magpie linked. I'm not 100% sure, but I'm on my way to trying it out with an elven F/M/T that I'm slowly soloing through both BG1 & 2.

 

The F/M/T will not gain the HLA spells when the experience cap is disabled. It would take another mod to allow this.
