    Well my first fantasy books experience was DL so they'll always be special to me and I've only recently picked up some FR books but LOTR stands waaaay above them for me. I just find it easier to relate to the characters. The only series so far that has come close for me is Wheel Of Time.

    Almost forgot the Dark Tower series!! :doh:
