Well, that's a pretty short list of beers, but as you point out, it would be impossible to list everything. ATM, I'm drinking an MGD. But that's not my usual beer, just what was on sale and it's not too bad. Off the list, I chose Guinness. But I'm more inclined to like Shiner Boch, Rolling Rock, Foster's and, of course, a Sam Adams, occasionally.

@Tha Ofelix: Fear not, *I am an Unibroue fan myself*. However, Unibroue is not well-known outside our native province, so, for the needs of the poll, I tried to cram brands that people would recognize.

Raftman, Noire de Chambly, Éphémère, Eau Bénite, La Maudite, la Fringante, La Quelque Chose, La Terrible, La Fin Du Monde, La Trois-Pistoles, Blanche de Chambly, 1837, Don De Dieu... all of these are mighty fine beers. Unibroue rocks.

'bout time someone says it. Why would someone want to drink anything else?

@Tha Ofelix: Beats me. Unibroue's slogan pretty much says it all "Drink less, drink better"

Miller Lite (not listed) and if I'm pressed, Bud Lite. I don't run for beer as it makes me puke because of the smell. Wine coolers, tequilla w/ oj and vodka w/ oj are preferred.

Of the ones you've listed, I went for Hoegaarden. I like stouts as well, but not all the time.

In Melbourne, Carlton Draught is easily the best on-tap beer available. One of its competitors bought out a whole bunch of pubs around Melbourne but was forced to sell them back when everyone flocked to the few places still selling it.

Hey, you can trust my judgement - I'm an Australian! Drinking beer is a competitive sport over here!

Re: imported beers - Asahi and Corona are pretty good, Löwenbrau and Grolsch are also very good, IMO. I must confess to being a bit ignorant of the full range of beers that are around these days.

I can't drink beer; it's too bitter. I drink cider (although not Strongbow - it's disgusting), vodka and gin&tonic.

Light beer and cider is for women only. :p

Personally of the list I prefer Guiness but all sorts of dark beer is usually good. Light beer does not suit as well with me but I drink it now and then. I have not even tasted most of the beer on the list, but it's not all that surprising since there are so many different breweries around the world that it's nearly impossible to list all the sorts.

Of those on the list, I picked Guiness. Some honorable mentions:

    Franziskaner (german wheat beer)
    Boddington's (the cream of manchester!)
    New Castle Brown Ale
Troeg's (anything - brewed in my new hometown!)
    Yuengling

Leffe is good, but lethal beer, like most Belgian beers!

Hoegarrden is probably my favourit beer ever, followed by Guinness or Murphies.

Did you know that Guinness is called 'Viagra' in Nigeria, because its a 'manly' drink over there? I think they have the right attitude!

    My mum likes Guinness.

And before you make any comments, no she's not manly in any way.

Still, it's not as though she drinks at all any more, so I wonder if it counts? :hmm:

I voted Hoegaarden, out of the options that are there. Belgian beer rocks, Leffe's probably my favourite, but Stella is an aberration.

When I'm down the pub I mostly drink Plain Ol' Carlsberg, though; everything else I've listed is too expensive. Hell, you have to pay £3 for a pint of Stella in our local  , and it still tastes of piss!

I have been known to drink Guinness, and enjoy it, though it's not my first choice of beer.

And no, I am not manly.

/me throw a glare at TNO
