    I've always been a slight coffee drinker, but didn't really know what coffee was all about until I moved to Seattle. The best: Medium-dark roast, Gold Coast or Verona blends with 2 sugars and Amaretto creamer. I have 4 or 5 different blends that I like (mostly dark roasts), depending on my mood. (But I haven't frequented the drive-thru Starbucks or expresso stands yet.) ;)

    Generally, strong, unsweetened and black. An old friend once told me that "Good coffee doesn't need cream and sugar, and bad coffee can't be heled by them." So far, I've found him to be right! I do like to mix the flavored coffees about 50-50 with plain. Caramel, Vanilla, and Hazelnut are my favorites. I loathe flavored syrups or creamers.

    I love a cappuccino or latte, but not for breakfast. They're my mid-morning or afternoon pick-me-up, or (if decaf) a late-night treat to stop me from snacking.

    I can't stand either the taste or smell of coffee. Give me a nice cup of tea with a belt of scotch in it any day.

    I didn't vote because the choices were too extreme. I don't usually drink coffee. I never acquired the taste since I was a health buff and I was in the football (soccer, that is :p ) team when I was younger. I only drink coffee when I want to stay up very late. I prefer it black.

    Blog, caffiene will never be as strong a stimulant as nicotine.

    Caffiene's mechanism is indirect. Whereas, nicotine's is quite direct.

    Yea, there is something in it. When I drank official death dose of caffeine I didn't even notice. With nicotine that wouldn't go. Here nicotine is used to increase the effect of alcohol. The increase is only felt, not really visible and that's the main advantage, I suppose, especially for students.
