    My iPod is not *trash*.

    Not yet anyway. I've only had it six months. If it craps out on me some time soon, then I will agree that it is trash and will curse it's rusty innards. While it keeps working, it is perfect and will defend it to the last.

    I have one of the first ones made (1995). And it still works just fine (only I have little use for a 100MB diskette). To be honest, I lucked out with this unit.

    Normally I couldn't care less about the iPod, but when a friend sends a few songs your way and you can't play them because the piece of trash converted them into a format unreadable by anything else than iTrash, it's a bit maddening. It's ugly, it feels cheap. I don't like it. Enough said.

    "Not yet" is they keyword here, Harbs. It will eventually be.
