    Go with a FMT.

Covers everything, and will advance pretty fast in such a small party.

Well I'm mainly concerned with a suitable character to RP really deep evil. Since I will be playing this party in the unmodded game, it doesn't matter in any way whatsoever how effective my character is, because in the unmodded game any party under the sun can beat the game with extreme ease.

There are really three types of evil that I would consider appropriate from an RP standpoint. "sarevok evil" which is a very dark/intimidating/powerful figure, "irenicus evil" which is a sort of calculating intelligent sociopathic evil, and "kangaxx evil" which is the "burn the world to ash" sort of evil.

I do NOT want the "get money at all costs" thief type evil. And due to the limitations of the game I think that the kangaxx evil is pretty much impossible to do.

Those three evils kinda sound a little like LE, (intelligent) NE, and a quite clearly CE, by the way :)

The problem seems to be that all the "evil" options in the game seem more like the "mad mad smash smash kill you for the heck of it" type of evil.

Yes I'm thoroughly convinced that this game is extremely poor at allowing a proper RP of evil beyond the "bad temper" or "give me gold" sort of evil that we see in the dialogue options.
