    [​IMG] Yes, this will be fixed shortly. If they don't fix the ads, I'll simply remove them and replace them with something else. I doubt any of them will notice anyway. They get enough money from em loading at the front page anyway.
    And that one seems to work for everyone, so I'll just leave them there.

    I don't know much about web page design, but could you set the pages up so the ads get loaded last, and the rest of the page comes up first?

    Hehe, the whole point of the ads nowadays is that they run scripts that halt loading of the site until they're fully visible. Not much point in having them if everyone scrolls past them before they load...
    Which isn't necessarily bad, when ads function normally. It only takes a few seconds.
    But if the ad servers are messed up and if there are errors in the script which prevent the ads from loading at all...
    Well, you've seen what happens. The script runs until it times out and displays the whole page then, without the banner ad. This can last for a while unfortunately...

    Something new every day happens here... Today I was nicely prompted for my user name and password while loading the main page by ads.euniverseads.com. Pressing "cancel" repetively made it go away, still a weird bug :( And unfortunately now the main page also takes it time to load, and when it does the ads are not there, just an empty square instead.
    IE does seem to be browser of choice, NC timed out and Opera is still loading the page and it's been 37.2 min (sending request to ads2.gamecity.net......
    Is it possible that the problem is actually related to our geographical locations, i.e some routes work better than others? :) For the survey sake I'm from Australia.

    Could be. I for one never had to wait for it load for more than 3 minutes, even when it was totally screwed up. I was just about to change all ads when I reloaded and for once, all ads showed up and they were actually fantasy-related. So I suppose I'll leave them on most pages since they do seem to be improving, but I'll kick them from the games pages which people load the most and replace them with my own, which I know work.
    Like the one on the boards here now. Loads in a sec.
