Once I do the reinstall of IWD, what files do I need to import to use saved ones....

    Shouldn't have had all these problems, but I do!! I had to reinstall IWD as I finished it a few months ago. I copied my mpsave file into IWD and thought I could import the char to HOW that way. But that doesn't seem to work. What files/folders etc do I need so this can work! I tried looking back 10 pages of messages and doing a search but couldn't fine the answer. thanks!

    [​IMG] If you're going to play the expansion only, you're going to have to import your previous character's from the character file, not the mpsave file (the mpsave is only for saved games, not individual characters). I'm assuming that when you finished IWD, your character's were all copied automatically to the character file, though I'm not sure of this because I haven't finished IWD/HoW yet. This is what happened when I finished BG/TotSC so I'm assuming this is the same for IWD. If you have your character file from your previous install, try copying those files to the character file in your new installed game. You should then be able to import those characters when you go to create a new character for the HoW expansion. I hope I'm saying this clearly.
