    It brought back a nice wave of nostalgia for me. I went for Gibberlings - because fighting those blue-skinned crazies with Immy was just too fun. It's a shame there's so few of them in BG2. Gnolls would have been my second choice, purely for the massacre at the stronghold.

    Weren't the xvarts the blue skinned guys? The gibberlings were the critters that seems to run towards you on both hands and feet IIRC.

    You're right, but gibberlings were also blue. Or at least, of a vaguely purple hue.

    [​IMG] Gibberlings were a bruise blue so fit into the night really well heh.

    I voted for the Rats, Cranium rats in Torment were a delight to group together then squish. Oh the profits! Plus spells!

    I voted for xvarts... I'm still feeling bad about that smurf massacre 10 years ago.

    Looks like I forgot about taslois and spiders... dang. Some others too potentially... the problem is, I don't remember if those guys actually came in swarms... it's been too long since I've played any IE games.

    Taslois were only around Cloakwood in BG1, and spiders... *shudders* spiders were terrifying and NOT low-level critters.

    Hmm, I tend to think of it in PC level. When you hit Cloakwood PCs should be mid-level, so I don't think of tasloi and spiders as low-level critters.

    Just different interpretations, I guess.
