Old IRQ joke I thought I'd share

    A couple years ago some humor was appreciated here, so a recent discussion reminded me of an old joke I made in junior high almost 25 years ago.


    Is my mother calling me away from the computer an example of a non-maskable interrupt request (IRQ) on channel parents?






    (keep in mind I used this joke from junior high through community college, when there was no shame or stigma about still living with one's parents, and it was expected in junior high and high school.)
