Well, it's still over a month away, but I've finally got things in order and reserved my tickets to Germany for the class reunion. It's already been five years since we graduated... for some reason, I feel quite dissatisfied with what has happened since then.

I guess it reminds me of how different things are from what I had hoped they would be. Well, I have a job that pays well for the BG standards, which means I can pay off my student loan, co-rent a flat, and have some funds left over. That is the good part. The bad part is that my work is unrelated to what I've studied or where my main interests are, the chances for advancement are low, and I haven't done a lot of things I hoped I would - from personal issues to travel.

Ah, what the heck. I'm not that old, either, and it's all life until we die. So... off to Germany it is, in around a month and a half. In the meantime, there's fencing club camp this weekend. Hitting people with wooden swords can be quite intellectually relaxing.
