A few days ago, finally, I got my hands on planescape. Well those are nice NPC's. Ignus, then man made of fire, the reformed succubus, the skull, the thiefling roque. Now we are talking about something different. the monster manual is full but again, and it is important, make only one or two really exotic but do them right.

The key to succes in many NPC is mods. Make a toolset like NWN so we can mod. that way the npc's will come one after the other. If modders can log in and send their mods, it can be added during expansions or updates.

Also remember that Planescape took place on another plane. People like that were, well, not COMMON, but not unheard of. A few planar travelers on the material plane is fine, even interesting ones, but not too many. If you really want to have fun, have a teifling and a celestial. One is running from the other. You can either help one escape, or help the other catch the first.

As in a lovesick assimar that chases a thiefling. that is something.

Not quite what I was thinking, but Ok. I was more thinking Assimar (good) tracking down a teifling thief or murderer or something (evil). You can help whichever, but don't try to get them both.
