    Indeed Marceror. Here's an update. Apparently the good reverend has fled to Hawaii.

    I can't even comprehend that. If you were going to be raptured anyway, why was it necessary for the murder-suicide?

    This is the second time he's pulled this. He had also predicted the world would end in 1994. What's the saying? Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, shame on me?

    Where is NOG and Gnarfflinger when you need them? Perhaps they were Raptured - which I guess would mean the joke is on us.

    Oh, and I particularly liked this little nugget:

    I wonder why multiplying them together twice is the magic number? Why not 3 or 4 times? And certainly there are more than three holy numbers in the Bible - why those three specifically?

    On a completely unrelated note ... ahem ... without a doubt ... unequivocably ... no possibility of being connected ... after all I would never believe in this rapture thing (wasn't that a song by Blondie?)....

    Does anyone know how to fool a DNA test? Just asking for no apparant reason....

    OMFG! Harold Camping is even more of a quack than I thought. Tonight he tells people that judgment day did happen on May 21, but it was a "spiritual" event rather than a physical one, as he had expected. Um, no, it didn't happen at all you maniac. Accept it.

    He maintains that the world will still end on October 21. Anyone who decides to continue believing this 2 time loser on that prediction deserves to be fed to the gators just as much as he does.

    Such a typical cult-like mentality, where no matter what happens, or doesn't happen, they find a way to twist reality to somehow still work with their deluded beliefs.

    Well, Harold, if judgment day did occur on Saturday, spiritually or otherwise, you weren't taken up in any sort of rapture prior to the event. So you better start fearing for you soul in a major way.

    Well, it wasn't exactly the end of the world, but the rapture was kinda interesting. But overall, I didn't like it (too much "amen" and "oh holy one"), so I decided to come back.
