So, the season officially comes to an end today as the contracts expire. Who will move? who will stay? Who has enough cash to get players to sign?

Montréal opened the dance by trading Scott Gomez. This is a good trade. The habs didn't give much for Gomez : Higgins, who is really overrated and was part of the young habs fiestas which completely destroyed their play in the latter season ; Doug Janik, who probably would not have played in the NHL; Pavel Valentenko, a young defenseman who prefered to play in russia this year; Ryan McDonagh, probably the biggest loss in the trade, who may be a future star in the NHL but hasn't been developing as hoped right now.

The only downside is Gomez's 8 million per year... yuck...

Calgaray followed the habs with the signing of Bouwmeester. Vancouver also secured it's future by signing both Sedin twins for 5 years.

What do you think will happen next? What do you think of the signings so far?
