Which brings us nicely to the biggest problem I foresee with Bethesda doing Fallout 3: The humor. To me, Fallout 1 and especially 2 were great games, not in small part due to the humorous dialogue options/events in the game. In contrast, Morrowind and Oblivion are devoid of humor of any form, and character depth in general (though there were a few exceptions to the flat characterlessness of the masses, most notably Sheogorath).

But we'll just have to wait and see whether they can manage to insert humor and a dialogue system that is more like in Fallout.

Another big point of concern for me has been confirmed to be in the game already, though, and that's the fact that Fallout 3 will have a level scaled monster system, much like the one in Oblivion. Which was precisely one of the major points I disliked very much about Oblivion. In Oblivion this could be countered by installing some mods, but I'm not certain the Construction Set will also be released with Fallout 3. If it isn't for some reason, then I'll only pick up a copy of the game from the bargain bin, if user reviews are favourable, that is.

    Thanks a lot Henkie! :)

I do agree with you, the scaling system is crap. It's a pity. Regarding humor there are some funny situations in Oblivion. Not that it gets as good as humor in Fallout (which is very Pythonesque).
