Need help with sorcerer please :)

    Hi there,

    I found this game lying in my shelves and suddenly decided to make a new game on it :p. But I already have a problem on it.

    I have a sorcerer, who is a wild elf (chaotic neutral) and for some reason I cannot cast a single spell but I can do his ability. Does anyone know if I'm doing anything wrong? I also have a cleric, but his spells are working fine.

    I just started this new game, so any suggestions for making a better sorcerer are welcome :).

    [​IMG] What is his Charisma stat? You can only cast spells the level of your charisma minus ten (so need Charisma of 12 to cast level 2 Spells, Cha 15 to cast lvl 5 and so on)

    What 8people said, you need CHA for a Sorcerer. Sorcerers are great but it may be better to take a Wizard (INT is the casting stat for a Wizard) if you don't know which spells to pick because you can't change your spell selection as a Sorcerer and while some spells like Sleep are very useful in the early game they end up being really useless later on.

    Or you could do a search in this forum and have a look at one of the many Sorcerer spell selection discussions to avoid picking spells that look good at first but will ultimately cripple your character.

    EDIT: I did a quick search and found this thread, it should help getting started.
