    Despite Ara's best attempts, Poetic Dude is still nameless. I'll probably end up coming up with something either totally brilliant or totally crap as soon as I have to write something about him - which fortunately won't be the first bit. I might even make it the first few days without having to poke him, though that could be difficult...

    Last year, i got the idea on the 30th..: I suggest that you try to get a good grip of a character, or several of them, and see where that goes. I also suggest picking up the prompts that cvan be found in various parts of the nano forums, and of course annoying people at #sorcerers :p

    I guess it's not that I don't have ANYTHING, it's just that what I have seems more suited for a graphic novel or manga. That is, unless I resort to long drawn-out Robert Jordan-esque descriptions for eveything. I guess I shouldn't gripe too much, though, since this is my first crack at this sort of thing.
    Oh, wow, in all the excitement I didn't even see my new gem! :) :)

    Same here. I don't currently have internet up at home, and the company IT gestapo goes into apoplexy whenever anyone d/l's "unauthorized" stuff into the system, so I guess this is all I've got...
