    The Avengers is one woman and one man. Try again with one woman and two men.

    This show does feature more than just these three people but they are considered to be so famous that they get special silhouetted treatment.

    I'm not sure that is or was anyone even remotely famous or distinctive in Air Wolf. I would predict that the three silhouettes in my show would be recognised by just about EVERY single person on these boards if they saw them.

    Therein lies the key. There aren't very many people who are genuinely recognisable from their silhouette. Even the most famous people in the world (like Brad Pitt or George W. Bush) are barely recognisable in silhouette.

    Now what sort of person is really recognisable in silhouette?

    The Champions was two men and a woman (with super human powers), but I don't recall the silhouettes.

    Edit:
    Thinking about it, there was another threesome show with Robert Vaughn in, but I don't recall the name.

    Batman?

    IIRC, there were cutouts of Batman, Robin and Batgirl, but I don't think they were all together in one shot.

    JSBB is right although he doesn't seem to believe it. At the end of the Justice League Unlimited opening sequence, there are silhouettes of Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman, with the myriad of other heroes zooming past in the air behind them. I suppose Superman, Batman, and Wonder Woman must be considered to be the Big Three, although in my experience, Green Lantern seems to actually feature in the most episodes.

    The first season death toll was pretty impressive within the family of the lead female character in this series. In the first season her brother was murdered, she was killed, she killed her mother, her mother murdered her uncle, and she killed her mother again.

    No it isn't Charmed.

    Edit: I guess it is time for a hint. The main complaint about the series has been that the musician (he has actually done a fair bit of acting too) who is playing the male lead character on the tv series isn't as good as the actor who portrayed the character in the feature films.
