    PS For everybody that did not grok the 'Knight' reference in my hint:
    This was the show 'Forever Knight' that had a vampire turned cop named Nick Night. He was trying to do some good in the world (Like Angel) and also trying to turn human again. So the title is a play on words. His name is Knight but he is forever doomed to darkness aka night. This was a syndicated show so most probably never got to see it.

    Well it is a new/old release or an old/new release. The show is old but being available on DVd is new. It is amazing how many old TV shows are coming out on DVD.
