    Nope, much more recent.

(I had to look Joe 90 up on IMDB to find out what it was)

    not on topic:

    IMDB?

I'd say Star-Trek (for Data) but that's obviously not it.

I'm tempted to say The Pretender, but Jarrod wasn't an amnesiac, and he wasn't color blind...

    It sounds so familiar.

    I'm stumped.
BTW, this isn't an American TV show, is it?

Mesmero got it, it was John Doe.

And I thought The Pretender might figure in some people's thoughts, that's why I added the amnesiac bit.

@Enagonios - IMDB is basically a database of info on virtually ANY movie/TV series ever made.

A father and his son solve murders; one does it for a living, the other is a doctor.

Yep, Diagnosis Murder is correct. I really need to watch more tv, to come up with something besides these utter softballs.

This show had a golden condor in it, and was set in south America.

Well, that's me out, as I cannot think of any shows at all that were set in South America.

That's why I only use it in instances such as the one that I did - if someone guesses something that I've not heard of, I check to make sure it's not like that show I intended. I never actually use it to post a guess.

Anyway, is it "The Mysterious Cities Of Gold" Takara?

yup. My all time fav memory from growing up. You're up Aldazar.

Like you, if I've no idea on a quote, I'll sometimes check IMDB, but after I've checked. I'll never post a guess.
