    Possibly easy, but then again...

    1970's childrens Sci-fi program whose music appears on many a sci-fi or cult TV themes album (Well maybe not many).

    The emergence of Homo superior as a bunch of teenagers with psi powers who seem to spend most of their time hiding from the nasty military who might use their powers as weapons.

    Um, OK, after Annie Walker died, I think the pub was run by Bet Lynch. And one of the barmaids has been working there for at least 30 years, probably much much longer.

    heh. Took so long as I never watch soaps. However the length of time gave it away.

    Here's mine: This show was a great scifi that ran for one series. Featured a bad guy alien race called the chigs.

    Oh my god., I actually got some sort of benefit from watching the filler interviews they show between movies on the Movie Network? :thumb:

    This show was about a bounty hunter who was trying to capture the band of criminals who murdered his father, all the while keeping an eye out for the coming thing.

    David (Jon Irenicus) Warner played one of the criminals.

    Edit: I guess a hint is in order, if anyone is actually looking here that is.

    This series occurs in the U.S. in the late 1800s. It was a cowboy show with a moderate dollop of science fiction. The leader of the gang of villains turned out to be a time traveller who was seeking a series of mysterious orbs that granted their wielders a variety of powers.

    Edit #2: Sigh, looks like I have killed this game. Oh well, I think I am posting only to myself here but here is another hint.

    The main character, whose name was included as part of the name of the series, was played by Bruce Campbell.
