My familiar is pissed at me....???

    LOL!!! That's what I've been saying Mage_0...

    I DID talk to him already. I've said that like 5 or 6 times now(no I didn't actually count ;) ). That's the first thing I did. I don't want to kill my familiar. I spoke with him ALOT cause that's all he'll do. He does nothing but TALK or go in my backpack. And when I talk to him I get a list of choices.

    I'm doing this from memory but I think it goes something like this...

    1. Put him in your backpack
    2. slap him on the head
    3. Ask him how he's feeling(pet him on the head)
    4. Ask him for advice
    5. Let's keep moving for now


    I've tried ALL(yes that's EVERY SINGLE CHOICE) of the above to no avail. If you pick 1, he goes in your backpack reluctantly.
    If you pick 2 he reels back from the blow. You then get all the same choices plus the option to hit him again. If you hit him again he either dodges(ending the conversation) or takes the other blow. Then you get the options again(minus the hit option).
    If you pick 3, he laughs, pulls away in disgust and says "oh now you are concerned about ME, up until now it's been YOU YOU YOU" followed by some random request for more gold, food, or magic.
    If you pick 4, he laughs and says "YOU'RE asking ME for advice??" and then gives you some random useless advice.
    If you pick 5 he says something like"Oh sure lets just keep moving for another 50 or so years!"

    As you can see no matter what I pick he does not want to move. The only way I've been able to continue is to put him in my backpack. Which although he's pretty useless, I'd rather have him flying around anyway. I don't know how to GIVE him anything(such as money or magic items) cause all you can really do is drop them on the ground and that doesn't work. I haven't tried sacrificing anything to him(like a chicken, that's one of his requests...) but I'm not sure how I'd even attempt this in the first place.

    So as you can see I'm out of ideas for now. And before someone comes to me and says "try talking to him" read all of this and then see if you have any ideas. I apologize if I sound rude or anything, it just seems like I have to keep repeating everything. ;)

    You still haven't explained if you have the official patch installed or not.
    I remember a familiar-related bug that was fixed with the patch, so go install it if you haven't already.
