I just thought that there may be some mods that some of you consider must have, as I know that I do. List(and link if possible) them here. These are in no particular order, just as I think of them.

1.Thievery in the Imperial City: Adds some quests for a thief, makes it more interesting(not guild related)
    http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=5156

    2. JOG's Stealth Overhaul. Overhauls the stealth system alot. Makes it much more realistic
    http://www.tessource.net/files/file.php?id=9655

    3. Knights of the White Stallion. Adds alot to the Quest, including a guild hall and several more quests.
    http://tessource.com/files/file.php?id=6623

    4. Thieves arsenal. Adds several of the Thief:DS items to the game including water arrows, noisemakers, fire arrows etc. Must have for a Thief type Character. http://tessource.com/files/file.php?id=9655

    5. Living Economy. Makes the Economy more like Morrowinds.
    http://tessource.com/files/file.php?id=4432

    6. Elven Map Remake. Revamps the in Game map making it look much better, and show the terrain some.
    http://tessource.com/files/file.php?id=3002

    7. Chase Camera Mod. Adds a Crosshair to the Chase camera view. Nothing annoys me more than being able to run around 3rd person but not knowing wtf your swinging at.
    http://tessource.com/files/file.php?id=1840

    8. Quest Award Leveling. Self Explanatory.
    http://tessource.com/files/file.php?id=4979

    9. Unique Landscapes. There are several of them so I'm not going to list all the links. Makes several areas of the game look much better. All found on Tessource.com

    10. Slofs Horses. Makes the Horses of the game look much better, and gives Shadowmere a Nightmare look.(flaming mane and tail.) Also can make it to where your horse won't die.
    http://tessource.com/files/file.php?id=3532

    11. Fixes that annoying enchantment glow of items.
    http://tessource.com/files/file.php?id=1843

    12. DarkUI. I don't know about you, but the UI of Oblivion is way too bright. This replaces the Parchment background of it all to a Dark Leather, making it much easier on the eyes.
    http://tessource.com/files/file.php?id=1962

    13. Vermillion and Silverthorn Robes. IMO all the robes in this game look like ****. This adds a couple of good looking, unenchanted robes to the game, so that your mage can look good too.
    http://tessource.com/files/file.php?id=4072

    14. Capes and Cloaks. Just looks so cool.
    http://tessource.com/files/file.php?id=4539

    15. Keychain. Gets rid of that huge list of keys in your inventory, and just puts it all on the keychain for you.
    http://tessource.com/files/file.php?id=3409

    16. A model mod. Eshme's, Rens, Corwyn's take your pick,
    eshme http://www.oblivionsource.com/?page=modforge&op=viewproject&project_id=522

    Ren's http://www.tessource.net/files/author.php?id=120929

Corwyn's Fantasy Figure. The best IMO but I can't find a damn link =/

    17. Qarls Texture pack, if you have the PC for it. Need a Ninja Machine for it though :(

The only unofficial plug-in I have so far is the Mark/Recall one which is must have for me. It is also found on Tessource.

Quite a few of the ones listed above look interesting to me.

    Modular Oblivion Enhanced

Adds lichdom for high level mages....3 types of liches. Unaccesible till Level 25

    Adds lycanthropy

removes creature and item leveling....you can find any item or creature anytime in the game(a lich at level 3 sucks. bad.)

    adds a vampire clan.

Realistic Pricing: everything has a price and it reworks the prices of most items.

Can disable fast travel, and adds travel services(carriages at all stables).

Adds Mark/recall, Levitation, and a Teleport spell to all cities.

Main Quest Delayer: you can start out in Anvil without having the main quest started. Can start it anytime you wish by getting arrested by an Imperial Watch Captain, Centurion or Commander.

Fatigue Loss from Running: Unless you're highly skilled in Athletics, you will now lose Fatigue points from running.

Hunger Effects Adds hunger effects to Oblivion. Now you will need to eat regularly to stay healthy and alive.

    Adds Lock spells.

Realistic law enforcement, scythes, you can now loot palace gaurd armor and renault and Glenroys blade armor in the begining. Unlocks Dremora armor.

All in all it has 37 Optional Plug-in's. I use a little more than half of them.

The only one I haven't used yet is Lichdom, and thats because I just had to reformat and none of my characters are high enough yet.

Modular Oblivion Enhanced...I have added this plug-in. Since it is modular you can choose what you want and the description on Gamespy is quite good. It does warn you that it may not work with other player plug-ins. I primarily wanted it for the Main Quest Delayer but have other features activated. New classes have been added, you can choose to start at a higher level and you may also start as a vampire if you want.

I also highly recommend Natural Environments...this mod has made Oblivion into a completely new game for me. Fog near Anvil while walking along the Gold Coast; Lightning, thunder and rain with realistic lighting based on clouds in the sky...birds, insects, night time sounds...its got everything. This is in my opinion THE most important mod for the game as far as gameplay and realism are concerned.

    Get it at TESSource.net!!

More immersive sound...improves the sound of everything....until i got this I didn't know that all the chapels had bells go off hourly, it adds alot of detail to the game.
