    Heh, I'm tired... I never thought of that from Blazing Saddles. Shame on me! Ok then. Jackie Wilson - higher and higher. Not from The Bachelor. From a movie when it is played twice, and the second occurs at a major point.

    The second time was done by Howard Huntsbury. I thought they were both Jackie Wilson

    I believe the song is started by Paul McCrane (yes, the ER doctor who lost his arm and was killed by a helicopter).

    Edit: another song from the movie was "Out Here on My Own" -- Irene Cara.
