Omnigodly, i also agree with you about Haer'Dalis, he is such a fool. Coincidently, doesn't he have a thing for Aerie? Those two are made for eachother...god damn morons!
Hehe we could start a new thread, "Most annoying couple." No mystery about where my vote would be going.

 

Nalia, without a doubt is the most annoying NPC in the Game, rather than kill her I just left her at spellhold to die a long slow death

Anomen's and Mazzy's introduction lines, and everything they say afterwards, are the ones I hate the most. Played the game through several times, and have never bothered to find out what they exactly say...

I can't stand Haer'Dalis' birdtalk, "come my birds, let us to the playhouse fly" etc. Played him through once, tho never again. If I feel like having a bard, I just go Skald/Blade myself. Blades rule forever!

How about a competition mates?
* Everyone must play the class they hate the most.
* Everyone must have Nalia, Anomen, Aerie, Haer'Dalis & Cernd in the party.
* No talking back, always agree etc. Say those things that they want to hear, no matter how rediculous, cheap, false, %#&¤/&¤%/ they are.

Last one with all NPCs not murdered/computer that's not thrown out the window wins

 

Lol, Spetznaz, i like the way you think buddy. And yes, Blades do rule forever! That quote of Haer'Dalis's you gave just says it all. "come my birds, let us to the playhouse fly." Lol, what a loser. Still, would you expect anything less from a guy who's face is probably as hairy as his a## and whos nickname is 'Little Sparrow?' In fact, i don't think i hate him anymore. I pitty the fool...

 

I actually quite like Anomen, Aerie and Nalia so I wouldn't have much problem with that! Anomen is pompous but I always find him quite amusing with it. Aerie's whining is endearing. Nalia is cute.

Haer is a bit of a pain and I've only taken him all the way (oo-er, missus!) once because he doesn't have the HPs to be a decent frontline fighter or the spells to be a decent mage. Minsc and Korgan beat him hands down as a fighter and Edwin, Aerie, Nalia and Imoen as a mage. Every time I send him into combat I have to keep a Raise Dead spell at the ready because he almost always gets killed at some point. Sometimes more than once...

Cernd is just... bland. Totally bland. I've taken him once (oo-er again, missus!) and found him to be totally without personality. He's the least developed character in the game and seems to lack either the fighting abilities of Minsc and Korgan, the thieving abilities of Yoshimo and Jan and the spellcasting abilities of Edwin, Aerie, et al. Hopefully someday a mod will come out and make him an interesting character (hint! hint!) but until then I'll just whack him the moment the druid grove quest is over with.

 

I personally use Cernd every time that I use a good aligned party with paladin or paladin kit as my main character, and his werewolf form kicks the crap out of everyone i find, except of course the ever popular firkraag.

 

Actually Cernd in greater werewolf form is half decent as a melee character, but if push came to shove I'd still go with Korgan or Minsc.

 

yes thats true, however if you rp, instead of powerplay, cernd is quite interesting in that frame of mind. but yah as just a werewolf he aint too great, but he aint half bad at the greater werewolf form.

 

Haer is a decent fighter with the right items, but as a person I wanted to put my scimitar through his skull.

Edwin I also hate, he's not evil enough to be Chaotic evil. He's like the whiney kid in class who tattles on everybody else but throws a fit if you rat him out.

Yoshimo annoys me as well. I'm very happy to let him rot with his curse.

 

the only real time that Yoshimo pisses me off is with his arrogance in the begining about being so well reknowned, and the other time is whining about having to TRY and kill you.

 

Edwin is one of my favourites! His selfishness, his mutterings and his power. Having Korgan and Viconia in the party triples the fun.

Blades rule, Haer does not since he got a con of 9. Create one of yer own and you don't need his babblings.

As for Cernd, don't see him as a fighter, see him as a Druid with the ability to become as powerful as a fighter with his greater werewolf. He'll take Jaheria 1on1 any day - same spells, better fighing capabilities.

 

Ohh. Let me see. That would have to be Jaheria. Not all of Jaheria, just the lines when I am lawful good and have a rocking reputation and she says the same line over, and over, and over.

I say polymorph her into a squirrel and let Boo have her. No more complaints.

 

that boo is a hell of a fighter, and he's smart to boot, though i wouldn't boot him, minsc would get angry.

 

Oh,man, what's so annoying with Aerie? She´s my kind of Damsel-in-Distress and I make good use of her skills. Nalia is...simply HARD to get along, but I generally take her along because I just can´t stand the superiority of Edwin! I use to backstab him just to make him shut up. But if Nalia could just shut the mouth up...

 

personally, i got something to put in her mouth to shut her up, but thats a different story

 

OK ill admit it, im a part of the Aerie hater family club, although there isnt such thing, but anyway i trully dislike her!!! (and i say that dislike with the most amount of sterness and seriousness i can muster at this moment) because she reminds me of my mum (and if you knew my mum you would understand) all she does is nag and nag and complain and complain, and its only when you do really good things does she stop, and im not of a 'good' guy hehe and on soo many occasions have i killed her, i find just not bringing her in my party is too boring, so i save my game kill her, then reload and do the good thing and remove her (just so i dont lose lots of reputation and basically bugger up my game, when everyone in my party leaves me.)

 

Anomen is BY FAR the most annoying character. He's a bigoted jerk who can't even make decisions on his own, a muscleheaded braggart, and a total control freak. And to top it all off he's the only romance included by Bioware for a female PC. Plus, there are better fighters and better clerics stat-wise, let alone personality-wise. I really hate this guy. I like to turn him to stone; he makes a very nice statue. Unfortunately I then have to reload... sigh.
