    @ToTaL: the crab is called The Mudcrab Merchant. If you want a good deal on something that's worth under 10,000$ then go to him. He gives full price on everything.

    But you really needn't his soul.You can also trapp one off these golden holy ladies wich is worth 800000,and thats really enough money!
    And if you kill Vivec,wouldn't there be the message,that you killed one person,who is important for the game and should load you game ?

    @Sephirot: you can do it after you beat the main quest, or you can kill him before. There is aother way that you can get the wraithguard w/ out Vivec being alive.
