I hardly ever play with sorcerers any more. Much more fun trying to get some sort of progress out of characters that can't just zap all the enemies instantly.

Also, I think I have decided that I like duoing more than soloing. It's just a bit more interesting.

Yeah, duoing sounds like fun, too. Might try that next run-through, though it looks like I might be trying out IWD I for a while.

For some reason, I really feel like doing a husband/wife pure Bard with a pure Druid.

    Just a thought,

If you're soloing and then later on decide to add-in another character, say around the Western Pass area, does it become less enjoyable to play because one character is A LOT more powerful (lots of XP when Soloing :D ) and the other is just a level 1 character?

It depends where you do it. At the start of Chapter 2, it's OK because you don't get ambushed much, so the new character can help out safely with ranged weapons until they have a few more hit points. But if you do it outside the Horde Fortress, or in the River Caves, it's a nightmare, because your 8 hit point newbie gets nailed.

I think it is fun, because you get a new character who levels up quickly, versus your main character whose levelling has started to slow down.

In my game, I am in Chapter Two with:

    Fighter 4 / Barbarian 3 / Lorekeeper 3 / Rogue 2
    Demarch 5 / Monk 1
    Paladin of Ilmater 2

I'm pretty far through my solo game and I've managed to get the number of HoF in my 'normal' game, which is VERY fun when soloing let me tell you! Seriously you don't understand how many followers of Andora there are ...

I don't know if my 1st level character will survive that though

Trying to protect a first level character can add to the fun.

Plus, they level up so quickly with all the high XP available at those stages of the game that they are level 7 or 8 before you know it.

I guess so, specially since the number of enemies in my game is HUGE (HoF but on easy) but I just don't know if I should wait because there's ALOT of archers in this area :p
