Mod recommendations please!

    [​IMG] Hello guys. I have been away for a while and man has Sorcerer's changed.

    Anyways, since my HDD crashed and I got a new one I now have all to space to reinstall my old games and give them a run. So now that I intend to play the IWD series, what are the mods that you guys recommend? I'll anyway download any mods that make life easier so I'd like to hear about any mods that make the story / gameplay more interesting.

    P.S. Tal, those teeth are no longer scary. Go for a change boss.

    Domi just completed the IWD2 NPC project. It adds an array of joinable characters who banter with one another, and there are also a few romances to boot. IWD2 Tweaks may also have something that strikes your fancy.

    Tal Rasha's Tactics4IWD2 mod really enhances all of the battles in the game, making enemies a lot smarter and stronger. I also tried IWD2 NPC project, which looked promising. However, it greatly slows down loading times and thus, IMHO, was not really good to mix with Tactics, since Tactics requires a lot of reloading...which becomes mighty annoying fast if each reload takes more than 45 seconds. Plus IWD2 NPC project's members are hardly power gamish and thus have less chance of survival in the harsh environment of Tactics.

    So it is your call, go for IWD2 NPC project for great role playing opportunities, banters, and romances. Go Tactics for power gaming and extra crispy challenge. I chose the latter, unfourtunately.

    Anyone tried Tactics4IWD2 on HoF ? Tal Rasha says that it's not created for HoF but anyway.

    google infinity mod list. there are few IWD2 mods listed there. I'm trying out IWD2 NPC mod by Domi. It really isnt too bad.

    Now Tal Rasha's mod has new rules and modifications for HoF games. I think it is pretty compatible now.
