I had gauntlets of locking grip at the end of chapter 1. I don't have them in chapter two. What happened to them? (I don't think they made it through the chapter transition, and I like a free ambidexterity feat.) ...I've heard these things are commonly found. Have others found this to be true? If that's so, then I will wait. I'm not concerned with duel wielding unless I can find a hammer of thunderbolts!

I killed Gorkan in chapter 2 and I believe I took his axe. I don't know where it is now. I played some very late nights. I may have mistakenly put it down to make room in my inventory. I don't think I sold it. I don't want to search all the ground that I covered. Is there a simpler way to advance Daelan's quest? As a warrior, I really want that upgraded pendant. The extra XP for henchman quests is also nice. I hope someone can help me with a fix, cheat, or better yet a "legal" creative alternative!

The version 1.19 patch addresses some issues like this.

Alright, try this. Load a saved game right before the end of Chapter 1. Then, go and save your char. Then start a new game in Chapter 2 with this saved character. He will have all the equipment he had at the end of Chapter 1.

Uuugh. I had thought of that. I have played enough hours already that I don't want to repeat them - just like I don't want to search for that axe. I may turn to the tool kit if needed...
