Because of the new molding on the Ungor and Gor and the different base sizes of the Ungor now I'm going to be buying all new Ungor models, this means my old Ungor can be used as paint testing :) Which could be quite fun in ensuring nice schemes and that skin works properly and try new techniques without worrying overly much about ruining a model.

Looking at the new ungor (they are so adorabl btw) I'm wondering how I want to paint them, I think the Ungor will be more drab and more uniformed than the larger Gor who will have more variation in coat colour and variance in skin tone and markings. Their pointy little spears will be nice to paint as well.

I'm hoping to eventually get some Ungor Raiders, the archer variations, making them more camouflaged and possibly give them a bit more scenery on their bases to signify their role in scouting out others. I've currently got a unit of ten to assemble and am including a full command I will complete assembling them when Mr Fuzzbutt is done so then they can all be undercoated together :)

I will have less Ungor than Gor in my army overall I think, which seems a little unbalanced, but my feeling is that some Ungor at any one time will be sick or injured, they are often bullied and humiliated by the bigger cousins and each other and needed to build the camps and weaponry for those who are going to battle. Perhaps they got crushed in the pre-battle frenzies or eaten in the meal the night before :D
