    Yo.

Completely superficial question, I know, but why is there no animation for NPCs when they're wearing helmets? Is there a way to fix this via a hack or cheat? Sand needs a wizard hat, dammit!

    Whuddup.

I was wondering about helmet animations too after looking at Khelgar's bald skull for five hours.
But only answer I could find was what I'kai says here.
    Custom heads, no hats.

There's an option in the toolset that allows helmets to appear invisible. It's not the custom heads.

I remember reading somewhere that the NPC heads were not the standard PC size and shape, so there would be clipping issues etc. (like hair poking through or whatever) and the helmets would just look bad.
