Your absolutely right Seric, i have heard it a lot of times since i saw the musical last Tuesday in Vienna. Still great after more than 30 years.

 

Darien -- That is Creed, My Own Prison (as the previous posts already told you).

I love this song (the whole album rocks). Scott Stamp, the singer/song writer was raised by very conservative Christian parents. He once brought home a Def Leopard album and was grounded for weeks.

The song and album talk about his journey of faith, having been let down by "religion" and seeking some sort of spiritual relationship.

This is very similar to my own journey (except that I've found my way back into Christianity - just not "religious" Christianity).

Sorry if that was too much information! This song gets me going!

Why thanks Sir Bel, I can fake it fairly well . Live is indeed a good band, although I only have two of their albums: Throwing Copper, and The Distance to Here.

But for some classic sounds and soothing music, you don't have to go any farther than Van Morrison. You may have heard this tune from the sound track "As Good As It Gets" (The Movie). I like a wide variety of artists, but as I get older I'm leaning towards easy listening more and more

Moeken - I saw Live play at the Chameleon in York, PA...Many moons ago before the were famous! My friends band used to open for them occasionally.
