Lyre of progression

    [​IMG] 1st off bards can kick butt in IWD... but i cant figure out how to use/equip this lyre. it can help out a bard quite a bit.

    You equip the Lyre as a shield. I used to have my bard with a crossbow, but with the Lyre, I ended up getting rid of it because he had enough spells to make up for the crossbow. With a suit of Elven Chain, he can be pretty helpful. Just make sure you don't have any two-handed weapons equipped. I think I had my bard memorize 5 Melf's Acid arrows, 3 Icelances, Burning blood, and Identify (although I rarely used it... I think only twice) perhaps Magic Missle would be better.

    i figured it today thanks. my bard is using a heavy Xbow of speed, so i elected to go w/out the lyre for now. i swipped an amulet from Orrick the Gray (using my bard for this theft) which allows a mage(or bard) to memorize 1 extra 2nd level spell which my bard wears
