    [​IMG] ok, enough said....but if I played a male character I'd miss being called 'me lady', but seriously, I don't think enough females play these games, they are too brain washed from barbie fashion designer games, I had one barbie as a child and I ripped it's head off, wander if that's why I enjoy BG2 so much :) but I won't bore you with feminist whinging, sorry if it's too late, guess I haven't made a good impression with my first posts eh? do you think I'm still pretty with no wings? (sorry bout that)

    It is pretty funny though...The ladies definitely seem to be the minority when it comes to RPG's...Overall though, I like the ladies in the real world...

    Hmm.....they could've made better love interests for female characters, you know? My guess is that this is actually a kind of "feeler" for Black Isle, to gauge the response.

    It's too bad only Anomen is available, although I hear you can flirt with Haer Dalis though. Would you rather not go out with Korgan??? :D

    I've known quite a few women who play RPG's, usually on pen and paper, but a couple who play CRPG's too.
    As for the barbie thing, who doesn't want to rip her head off? i think that hacking things with swords and shouting 'FWAAAAKKKKOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!' as you fry something with a big spell would always more fun than dressing a doll that makes you anorexic:p. Or maybe it's playing with the dolls that make you want to hack things and fry them with spells, i dunno....

    We only had one girl play P & P D & D, and our group had 7 or 8 people...I've always wondered how many women played in general...But I'm thinking that ratio probably holds true...

    I do think that is pretty messed up that they did that. I know quite a few females who play RPGs and CRPGs and feel the same way. It is too dominated by men. (The whole hack and slash stuff) I have to say, that sucks. I truly feel sorry for Hope and all the other female players...

    I, too, am rather peeved at the lack of male love interests. As a woman, I'd like to play as a woman and get the full experience this game has to offer. I hope they fix the problem in the expansion, as there have been enough complaints about this!
