[IMG] MY first time in here with PC-troubles. :(

    Here the intro:

Some time back, my trusted Acer Aspire 7540G started freezing up every once in a while.
I assume it's the cpu. Run a bunch of software diagnostic tools and all of them hung up when stress-testing the cpu.

Anyway. Since I needed some data from the Laptop's HDD, I removed the Hdd and transfered the needed data via LogiLink adapter-to USB to my workstation.

And things worked fine. I was able to access all partitions of the HDD in question and transfer the things I needed.

But now after putting the HDD back into the Laptop it is not recognized nor listed in the Laptop's Bios anymore.

Thing is, since I'm saving for a solid Gaming-Desktop, I was hoping to repair the damaged cup ( if it's really the cup ) and keep using the laptop, since I need one for work.

A new Cpu (AMD Turion2 M500) won't cost more than 140-180 euros. Depending if I take a faster one. Which is still less than a new Laptop and I still can afford it, without straining my budget or my savings for the new desktop.

So what can I do to make the HDD being recognized?

So any insight O' masters of techno-magic what i can do?
