    Let me inform everybody that an E-reader has no computer lcd screen. It has what is called liquid ink, and read-able in daylight. It uses power to change the page and for a little system overhead.

    Yes, e-ink's readability in the sun is awesome. I fiddled with a Motorola F3 which has one such screen (low-cost handset, pretty cool actually), and the sun is absolutely irrelevant when this kind of screen.
