Here are today's "Jefferson" project forum highlights. Please take into account that these are only single parts of various threads and should not be taken out of context.

    J.E. Sawyer, Lead Designer

Pickpocket: Pickpocket did not work the way I wanted it to in IWD2.

Quote: Will there be areas that can only be found if you're about them, find a map, etc. (like the Sierra Army Depot), or will you be able to find these places on your own with a bit of skill and luck?

Yes. There are a few areas that the player can only find by being told about them. However, a majority of the areas in the game can be found simply by exploring. All of the cities, for instance, are automatically visible on the world map.

Quote: My only objection to SAD type locations is if your characters are walking through it then they should see it.

In some cases, this is true, but in other cases, it would be very hard (or effectively impossible) for the characters to see the entrance to the location. Something the size of SAD, sure. Something the size of a small cave entrance... eh...
