    [IMG] Hello all!

I was just wondering if anyone out there who has tried the IWD2 tactics mod could give us some information on it? Did you like it? Was it compatible with other mods?

I'm currently half way through an IWD1 campaign and I'm going to start IWD2 again when I'm done, was thinking of using this mod. So any info from someone whos tried it would be great.

I'm currently near the end of normal mode and this mod has certainly brought new life into this wonderful game. I've played through about 3 or 4 times now. Useless spells and feats like blind fight and see invisibility are now rather important and the tactical challenge is impressive, albeit cheesy tactics are required sometimes.

But one thing that annoys me, is there a way to remod the super high CR monsters to give exp based on party level instead of giving nothing at all using near infinity? monsters like saablic, thorasukus, and xvim.

[IMG] I love the surprises. The challenge is greatly increased, but always do-able. Timing is of great importance, and reloads are frequent. But never so bad that I get the feeling 'this is impossible - I give up'. Kudos.
Heart of Fury enhancements are fitting, unfortunately I've had to play without the AC and HP bonuses Tactics grants. I only managed to activate that once; now I think other mods might be blocking it somehow.:( I loved the Iyachtu Xvim fight (although I prefer the bonus from siding with him, so I don't save the fight). I've been searching for the soundset he uses when the fight begins, because it's really cool:cool:.
You let certain boss monsters drop potions of permanent bonus now, but I wonder, are these random, or is the bonus predetermined?

The hof items in normal mode really do make things much easier as i have learned through hours of reloads.

I am currently playing through on insane mode with tactics, LOS, and some components of ease of use such as armor provides damage reduction which is almost mandatory for the prologue and really becomes pointless when monsters can crit for 60 damage and hit for around 30. though notably not HoF items or enchanced bastard swords as I felt this made my previous run(s) rather easy. I am currently in chapter 3 and have just won the will of wisp fight which has been the most difficult battle so far.
