Is there a summary somewhere of what you need to get each skill point to by each milestone in the game?
I haven't played in a while and so having a guide for such details would be handy.

spellcraft isn't too important, you have to kill everything on screen anyway so mages were going to be targeted right away cos any spellcasting they do won't be to your benefit

rogue has class only gear so never a bad mix in, 2 levels gives evasion and won't hamper bards from learning all of their songs

I thought about spells I usually cast and realized that other than information about enemy spells, I have no use of this skill. Sure, +20% dmg sounds nice, but in practice I don't have that many elemental spells in my grimoire: Chain Lightning, Melf Acid Arrow (that I use to kill trolls and nothing else), DBFB, sometimes Flame Arrow, Vitriolic Sphere and regular Fireball. Makes me wonder if it's worth taking the risk, ignore spellcraft and save skill and feat points that would boost 2-3 spells at best. Sure, wizard has lots of points anyway, but anyone else?

I thought you had to make a spellcraft check to scribe scrolls, although you can always save scum so you always succeed.

IIRC scribing depends on intelligence and difficulty level.

Bards and Sorcerers don't need to scribe spells

when my wizard buys a ton of scrolls in town I just set the game to very easy and then scribing never fails, far simplier than save scumming on every single scroll
