[IMG] This brings up an issue to my mind:
When is it too early to announce a game or a movie? I know the developers wanted feedback for Neverwinter Nights but at what point do you sacrifice feedback for declaring you are making a game, which means getting people all excited even though release is far off...

Well, that is the point of announcing it so early. People get excited and want to play the game now, even though it isn't out yet. But when it does come out all those excited people go to the stores and buy the game. Black Isle makes a few million and anounce the are making a expansion pack for NWN and people get excited and can't wait for the game to come out... you can guess what happens next.

This is not a gripe, I'm just curious if there is any reliably reported release date? I've ignored nwn because I thought it was multiplayer only--but it looks like the single player aspects could be quite compelling.

NNWN (or NeverNeverWinter Nights as I like to call it) Is "slated" for a 1st-Quarter Release.
That would be March the 31st to us I Guess.
There have been no Beta-tests yet so it should be at-least 4 months before it "goes gold. Sorry... I want it badly too.
