[IMG] Hello all! My first post here :D

Well i have played BG1 and BG2 when i was younger and IWD recently. The other day i tried IWD2 for the first time. It seems a bit easier than the other games so far, but it might be because of a bug im not sure. Basically, my party seems immune to missile damage. I'm only on chapter 1, but whenever a Orc archer hits one of my chars with an arrow, it says this message: Orc: [char] was immune to my peircing dmg.

So... is it just because its chapter 1 and the enemies are easy, or does this sound like a bug?

Not sure although you might have damage resistance which if not enough damage is dealt it comes up as that. I know there is a mod out there that make all armor have damage resistance. Besides that I wouldnt know

Aha, i think you have hit the nail right on the head there. It's a part of the ease of use pack, all armour and shields gives dmg resistance. I'll remove it and see if it fixes the problem. It sounded like a good idea to add a bit of realism to the way armour in the game works, but it could do with being toned down as simple studded leather is enough to make my chars completely invunerable to the orc archers in chapter 1!!!

Edit: I removed that part of the Ease of Use pack and it fixed the problem. Thanks! :p

    Rook:
I´ve too agree whit you on this, the game lacks( and is not the only one) on the reality matters, the amount of damage and resistance it´s a must on the games that uses different tipe of weapons and armors.
A friend of mine post a topic about the weapons IRL and the similarity whit the game( I think there is in the Dungeons & Dragons forum), and people feel the same about it
