[IMG] Well, after a long (and VERY boring) month and a half (or so) of being without my home computer, I have finally gotten it back from the shop! (motherboard was fried)

Anyways, if you were wondering why you haven't seen me around for a while, that's why (throw in moving to a new town/new job to make it a really interesting mix!). Anyways - missed all of you fools, and it's good to be back... finally...

So which job is this? Are you any closer to your fiancee?

    Oh boy... turnips... ;)

Anyways, I've got a full-time job at the university that I got my undergraduate degree from (McMurry University). My actual "title" is "Visiting Instructor of English" - kind of cool. I got a really nice office, too. Anyways, I've got a full load of classes (both freshman and upper-level classes) and am so far having a great time (despite the LOADS of work I take home every day - I'm teaching all new classes, so not only am I having to do the normal amounts of reading and grading, but I'm also having to write lectures for the classes I've not taught before - lots of work).

I'm teaching some freshman composition classes, an American Literature class (which I've never taught before - it's been quite an experience so far), and an upper-level Theories of Composition course (basically teaching comp theory to people who are going to be teaching writing - which is interesting, because I've only been doing it myself for barely over two years...).

And FINALLY, after two excruciating years, I am back in town with my fiancee, which makes both of us very very happy. Very happy. Very very happy. Did I mention that we're happy? Well, if I haven't, consider it mentioned: we're happy.

Anyways, that's it in a nutshell (a very, very small nutshell).
