PC Gameworld has posted a review of Black Isle's Icewind Dale II. They have given it an overall score of 87%.

I will warn that this game is not for the impatient or the twitch-gamer; a lot of thought and planning goes into each and every battle fought in Icewind Dale II. This, in turn, makes your victories more satisfying as you shape and mold your characters from low-level cannon fodder to mighty warrior and wizards.

While there are a few things that are wrong with Interplay’s Icewind Dale II, the plusses far outweigh the negatives. This game will definitely have you saying “just one more battle” deep into the night (or early morning), and fans of the original Icewind Dale can definitely expect more of the same hack-n-slash-y goodness from the sequel.
