Fairly healthy. Absolutely unfit though. Will get back there once I start playing football again. Hopefully.

I'd say I'm fairly healthy. I eat a good balance of food; get pleanty of sleep, about 8 hours each day, apart from saturday, which is about 5; do a lot of excercise, hockey 4 times a week, archery once a week, soccor (just with friends, not proper soccor) probably about 3 times a week, and then the occasional run or swim; I don't smoke or drink; I'm not over weight, but I guess that is part luck, as my dad is very skinny, so I have that on my side.

The thing I don't understand, is heaps of people have been saying they don't eat much cerial. What's wrong with them? They're not unhealthy, unless you eat the few types which are coated in sugar... unless things are different over there.

Oh, and this Quick Reply thing is wonderful! It helps keep my stress levels down ;)

Aside from an underlying medical condition that, while dormant, has destroyed y sense of smell, I'm pretty healthy. I'm about 20 pounds overweight - or at least I was, before pregnancy has destroyed my appetite. I hope I can maintain this complete disinterest in snack food and sweets after the baby comes. :) Other than that, what I do eat is more healthy than not: plenty of fresh fruits and veggies, lean meats, fish. Eggs and cheese in moderation. My problem has always been one of QUANTITY consumed, not QUALITY.

I'll admit to not getting as much exercise as I should but that's changing as my son gets older and needs more chasing-after. He's also developed a love a bicycles that certainly suits our taste. :) Sleep is also something that I can't get enough of, but I manage.

On the whole, I'd have to say I'm about a 7 on the 1-to-10 scale of Healthy.

I seem to be the unhealthiest person here so I am worried now. I guess I should stop smoking. There is no good substitute for smoking though apart from eating which I don't like because food always tastes like **** here apart from breakfast cereal. In the US you got them fruit loop things, I could eat a full box of them all in one go. I wish I could get them in the UK then every time I feel like a cigarette I could have a bowl of fruit loops.

@Sarevok and Kitrax- [preaching] arrr, not to give unwanted advice, but if you're in your early 20s, your body's alot more resiliant than it will be as you get closer to 30 and beyond. For example, I had *never* had a hangover before I turned 25.

Fast food is evil, and it's not even that fast. I often rely on mediterrainian food when I have no time to eat: just keep some pitas and tubs of tabouleh, hummus, babaganoush, etc on the ready and you're good to go. And it's far far tastier than fast food.

When I started grad school, I was a mountain dew addict, and would often wake myself up by visualizing my morning dew. Dude, the stuff is sugar mixed with battery acid, a *huge* amount of unnecessary calories. Coffee at least is natural, and so a much better thing to be addicted to...

Best health choice: date someone who's (at least mostly) a vegetarian, and who likes to cook!
    [/preaching]

[bragging] just took Chev's Real Age test: real age over 6 years younger than actual age! [/bragging]

If I had a beer every time I wanted a cigarette I would have liver failure in a week. :toofar:

I am in my early 20's and if I drink then I get a hangover for sure.

Well, I usually sleep about 0-4 hours a night, until my body shuts itself down, I use smokeless tobacco, the area I work in has constant supply of dust mixed with old tobacco dust(is an old tobacco warehouse, built in 1917), asbestos, lead paint, and several other things I care not to think of, and has been known to contain radio-active and bio hazardous equipment as well. I usually eat once per day, except weekends, I rarely eat then, but drink a lot(from 7-10 mountain dews) per day. But seem to be in decent health so far....
