Now, see, if we go by that test, I got a IQ score of 163. Genius, I am not. So, perhaps I will take a day of boredom something next month when the girls are gone and contact the local Mensa club, just for laughs. Until then, however, I'm telling everyone THAT score.

Because mental age slows quite a bit after childhood, the IQ formula is not truly accurate: going just on the score of the test, a person can go from being "gifted" to "mentally challenged" simply by staying at the same level of intelligence over the course of their life.

    Naw I got 132...
    I'm THAT smart...

This wasn't a very complex test, though...

So far, not a single person has tested at or below the "average", which is 100.. How come? I have some theories:

    1) Us gamers are a clever bunch. :D

    2) There were people on SP who took it, but decided not to report the result because they were embarrassed. :(

    3) The company has "tilted" the test in a direction, to give more positive, "flattering" results, cause you're a lot more likely to pay for the extensive analysis thing if it has a good number written on it.

[IMG] Incidentally, the reason for disparate scores from different tests is because the IQ scale is not necessarily standardized. Different tests often use different scales.

I haven't taken any IQ tests in awhile, but I did take that emode test awhile back, and got somewhere around 130. I thought I had the results saved in my email, but I wasn't able to find it. I also took the test at http://www.iqtest.com and got a 168 over there (I think anyway). But as Extremist stated, it's difficult to accurately measure your IQ over the internet.

I got 135 ... and my type is Facts Curator.

The first thing we can tell you about that is you've fed your brain a unique collection of facts and figures over the years. You've got a good hold on words and numbers. But that's just scratching the surface.

That's about right I guess. I'm not a genius, just creative.
