    [IMG] @Klorox: you can lose your status if you lose Rep. Nevertheless unlike in good old BG1 you won't have a "Fallen Paladin" status. I once created a paladin I dualled into Necromancer, "Fallen Paladin/Necromancer" was just awesome! :cool:
    In BG2 you will become a plain Fighter.

    How'd you dual class a Paladin?

    My bad I should have been more explicit. You can't dual a Paladin, but you can dual a fallen paladin: it is in fact a fighter.
    In BG1 the character kept the 'title' "Fallen Paladin" whereas in BG2 a fallen pally becomes a pure class fighter.
    So if you ever play a Paladin who falls and lose his title he will become a fighter and you will be able to dual him, of course you will lose all the special abilities your paladin possessed.

    Hmmm, powergamery question:

    There IS a way to regain your paladinhood in BGII. Can you fall, dual class, and then regain your paladinhood?

    Max spell level is not implemented. The manual says so, but it isn't true. i.e if you have the unnamed expansion, you don't need to use an unnamed machine to raise imoen/nalia's INT stat.

    @angryguy: it is so true! :bang:

    @Klorox: I never tried that so I can only speculate, I don't think it would work because your character will have become a real fighter in the process and you can't dual class a pally.

    IIRC fallen rangers will have their status re-raised if they complete their stronghold quest. Not sure about paladins.
    However it should be pretty impossible, since pally/mage would probably crash the game.

    @Shrikant:
    Paladins can regain their status if they choose correctly in the Tyrianna Morningale stronghold event.

    This is a interesting question. A Paladin/Mage or even a Ranger/Mage. That would make the game a whole lot better.
