I'm not one myself but could have been two different times in my life. I often wonder how different my life would have turned out. I'm both sad and glad in today's troubles over my choices. On that note I'd love to hear from some father's that did the deal and are now paying the price

Just finishing up a very nice father's day. Pretty low key. Had some burgers, fresh corn, watermelon, strawberries, and then my daughter made me chocolate macarons yesterday that we inhaled today. Spent some time in the pool, and generally relaxed with my family.

We kind of forgot about father's day. It's not like I can remember my own birthday, so I don't really mind. We just had a normal sunday, keeping the kids entertained, falling asleep together with the little one, normal stuff.

As for chosing parenthood, we did make the choice to have kids, but it's not like making the choice ever really prepares you for the actual consequences. Basically, if you like your free time to spend as you choose, then don't have kids. I don't mind, and nor will most people once they actually have kids, but it's a big difference, and not necessarily the consequence people think of when they decide to have kids.

I wouldn't be sad about your choices not to have kids, Sorvo, there's no point in wondering about the what-ifs, just take life as it comes.

Well that thread was a bust :( I guess the Corona killed it :p Happy to hear you guys enjoyed time with your families. I don't ponder over that what-if scene too much as I do just ramble through life like a bull in a china shop! I'm just content that I have a woman atm and she has a grown man that had 2 kids in the last 2 years, so she's in bliss!
