Game Crash

    NWN crashing while trying to load a game is nothing new (I just updated my driver this morning, game still crashes), but just a moment ago the game crashed while I was saving a game and destroyed the saved game in the process (it was the farthest progressed save game at the time too which made it more annoying). I was wondering if anyone else had experienced this problem and if there where other solutions that don't simply leave in the hands of Microsoft (who have been researching this problem for seemingly the last 2 years with no results).

    Well, off to restart HotU.

    I had the same problem when I played the game a year ago, and that was over a relatively fresh install of XP (3 months old). To be honest, the only way around it is to have more than one save game in parallel (I had 3, even though I never use more than one, just because my game got buggered. I was lucky it happened with the Autosave and not my main save).

    Sorry to hear you've got to restart everything.
