[IMG] What is your favorite fighting game? Why do like it? And if possible what is your favorite trick in it?

Mine is Tekken Tag. I think it is the best of the Tekken Series. It had all my favorite old school characters. I'd have to say my character is Jun, in fact its just about the only character I can use very well. She was so quick and she played so dirty. I used to annoy the shit out of anyone who played against me. I could'nt help but laugh every time I actually won.

I haven't played many fighting games, but I have played some Street Fighter II for Super Nintendo. Always played Guile. He rocked :).

Yie Ar Kung Fu - from C=64.

All others are crapshit without the thrill and soul. Only better graphics.

Street Fighter II. The only fighting game I've played and actually liked (and I still like it, a lot!) The game allows for many different strategies as well as opportunities of just being irritating. The game is in a human pace, too, without any impossible combinations to remember. Plus, I usually win.
The character I've used the most must be Chun Li. Many ways to beat your opponent, most of which are effective. What about winning by jumping over the opponent and throwing him to the floor four times in a row, without even taking a hit? My friend must've hated me for that.

[IMG] I would have to say Haoumaru from Samurai Shodown ( Samurai Spirits ).
It's hard to beat SNK or Capcom for fighting games as both companies balance their games perfectly.

Also SNK vs Capcom 2 has the best fighting game in the arcades or on console at the moment.

[IMG] Is Capcom vs. SNK 2 that new 2d fighting game
that looks kinda old because has jagged edgies. It definitely has jamming music man. I would put my quarter in just to listen to it.

I must say that SF2 is the fighting game I have played the most. It was awesome in its day and still playable today. I also liked Killer Instinct and Tekken 3

Nothing can beat the gameplay and atmosphere of SNK's Last Blade 1 & 2.

It seems most people are saying street fighter. I guess that figures since its about in every arcade. But what about Marvel vs. Capcom 2, everyone plays when I'm at that arcade. I think Tekken may losing its popularity, I usually end up playing it by myself.

I don't really have a favourite. I love them all. Well, almost. I like anything with Street Fighter in it. But most notably would be Super Street Fighter II Turbo, Street Fighter Alpha 3, and Marvel vs. Capcom 2. I also enjoy the Tekken games. I also play the King of Fighters.

Funnily enough, I never liked any of the Mortal Kombat games. When it came out, everybody seemed to abandon Street Fighter and played that, saying MK will replace SF. Well, I don't see any MK around anymore. Was glad that I didn't jump on that bandwagon.
