i was thinking about building my first module and was just wondering if it's possible to import music files into the game. If not, I don't think i'd be interested in starting up...

    thanks

It is possible, you just need to convert it to the NWN format, which is basically mp3 with a slightly changed header.

how difficult is it? and what do you mean by a different header? Does that mean just changing the name of the file?

Very easy, considering there's a conversion program for it. ;) Check http://www.sorcerers.net/Games/NWN/index_toolset7_1.php ; the program's name is MP3toBMU.

And no, you can just change the name of BMU files to MP3 and Winamp will play them, but it doesn't work the other way around as far as I know. MP3 files with extensions simply changed to BMU will not work in the toolset/game, so they need to be converted properly.
